Did you know...

Here are a few things I learned during my trip to Arkansas:
  • Don't leave cat food on your back porch...it leads to raccoons...which can lead to having to repaint your deck because of raccoon poop (even in the middle of town). Gross.

  • Opossums have 13 nipples to nurse their young. They are marsupials, and if there are too many babies, one may fall out of the pouch and die. Mother Nature seems awfully mean sometimes.

  • If your neighbor is growing eggplant and watermelon you should grow tomatoes and squash and your other neighbor should grow corn and peas. This way you can share.

  • Blueberries picked right off the bush and eaten are the best. No washing required.

  • There is something better than Miller's Cafeteria fried chicken...fresh out of the fryer Miller's Cafeteria fried chicken! They brought it to me right when I sat down...it is heaven in a brown, greasy crust.
  • It is ok to have a Dairy Queen blizzard for dinner and cherry shaved ice for dessert.

What fun we had, Susy! Who took pictures? Can you believe we forgot to get us all together for a picture?
