I'm going to paint the cabinets in my kitchen and get new hardware even though the management company told me not too. The dark cabinets and 1970s hardware just have to go. One can of paint and cheap silver knobs from Home Depot won't put me back much, and it will make my kitchen experiences much more enjoyable. And after all...I am an interior designer...I know better than they do! I wanted this rug from Pottery Barn to put down to cover the ugly floors, but alas, the 3'x5' rug won't fit because my kitchen is not that big!!!
